Rotor Break is inspired by my father and his family roots in Horry County South Carolina and Crusoe Island . His father, like many families during the early 20th Century were sharecroppers on tobacco farms.
This is the first album from Rotor Break. This is album is a testimony and tribute to my father's family and heritage. The album is a mix of bluegrass, country, and folk music. It includes songs that honors my late Uncle Possum, father's friend Johnny Roe, my grandmother Olivia, and their lives working the tobacco fields of Horry County SC.
The second album from Rotor Break: brings more of an appalachian influence with songs like Appalachian dance, Ballad of Alice Flagg, and Mountain Revelry. The music is full of energy and fun and is sure to get the most hesitant partner to the dance floor.
This is the third album from Rotor Break. This album features songs with a variety of themes. From religious(Sheep's Clothing), Tobacco Farming(Fast Hitch Dreams), Family(Tales by the Tea Tree), and self awareness(Where I'm Wanted).
